This is how the Camaro looked when we received it. It looks very good in pictures but, as the saying goes, looks can be deceiving. This car as you will see in the in the photos to follow needed a lot of help to be the pro-touring beauty that we envisioned.
These photos show that we had some serious work ahead of us. There was rust in the trunk, floors, and doors. The previous "restorers" had used fiberglass to cover a lot of the cancerthat we found. Not a good enough repair for our quailty standards. The motor turned out to be junk as well. It was time to start thinking about what motor we would put into this car.
